The East Burke High School Cavalier Marching Band has been selected to march in the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade in Honolulu, Hawaii on December 7, 2023. The Cavalier Band will represent the USS North Carolina BB-55 “The Showboat” and the great state of North Carolina as we participate in official events commemorating the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. We will also participate in events located at the USS Arizona Memorial, the USS Missouri, and the National Cemetery of the Pacific. We are very excited and honored to have been selected to represent our county, state, region, and nation for the commemoration of one of the pivotal events in American history!

Look for the Cavalier Band in Wilmington in May and again in December as we partner with the "ShowBoat" and her crew to remember and honor those who served in the Pacific theater onboard the most decorated battleship in the US Navy.
