5 things to do before we travel...

1.  Make sure your money works.

Contact your bank and/or card providers and make sure they know you will be in airports across the country and on Oahu during the dates of our travel.  Having your cards shut down is time consuming and inconvenient.
2. Make sure your phone works !
Contact your service provider to make sure you have a national calling plan that covers Hawaii.  Once you have done this, everything is local.  Cell service on Oahu is excellent !
3.  Medical form and medical
     insurance cards
Every person on our trip must submit a medical form.  Always a good idea to have your insurance cards with you when you travel. Statistically, someone is going to get sick or hurt while we are gone.  Let's be perpared.
4.  Identification

TSA mandates that all adult passengers, 18 and over, must show a valid U.S. federal- or state-issued photo ID at security checkpoints. IDs must contain the name, date of birth, gender and an expiration date such as a driver’s license. However, it does not require an ID for minors under 18; children only need a boarding pass to pass. A US passport can also fulfill this purpose but is not required since Hawaii is part of the US.
5.  Plan your free days BEFORE we leave.
If it involves money, you need a plan and almost everything on Oahu involves money.
Take a look at the activities page, plan what you want to do, set that money aside, and enjoy your experience in paradise !
