Only minutes from our hotel by bus or trolley, Hanauma Bay offers Hawaii's best scenery with the best snorkling on Oahu. There is a small admission of $7.50 per person and a required video presentation about care of the reef. After that, it's flat water and beautiful beaches for all. Be sure to pack your snorkle and fins; rental is expensive ! It's a bit of a hike down and back up. There is a tram available for $2 each. Hanauma Bay is closed on Tuesdays.

All of the waves break on the reef leaving the quarter-mile moon-shaped cove totally flat. Perfect for snorkeling with an abundance of sea life. Rentals available. It's better to bring your own equipment.
