The National Cemetery of the Pacific

The National Cemetery of the Pacific

The "PunchBowl" as described by the native Hawaiin population. Home to more than 53,000 Veterans who have been laid to rest from WW I, WW II, Korea, and Vietnam. We will participate in a memorial wreath-laying service.

With the beginning of WW II for America only yards away with the USS Arizona Memorial, MIGHTY MO marks the end of World War II as representatives from the empire of Japan surrendered on her deck. Bands perform on the fantail or on the dock according to requests from the Dept of State US and the Pentagon.

In 2016, best guess is that President Obama will speak from the deck of this memorial as we commemorate the beginning of WW II for America and celebrate its few remaining survivors in ceremonies and the parade.
